Shark Academy was born from an idea that started almost as a joke.

 

More than ten years ago, in conversations between dives and travels, the thought kept surfacing. What if there was a way to do this differently. Better. More consciously. More intentionally. At the time, it felt distant, something for “one day.” But the idea never really left.

 

As a female diver and often a solo traveler, I knew firsthand how important it was to feel safe without sacrificing adventure. I wanted to create something that felt right. A place where professionalism, awareness, and respect for the ocean existed alongside excitement, exploration, and unforgettable experiences. Shark Academy grew from that need. Not just to dive, but to dive with purpose.

 

Tito is the anchor that makes this possible. A master diver with more than 25 years of experience, he brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, calm, and confidence to everything we do. His presence underwater is steady and reassuring, shaped by decades of guiding divers through some of the Red Sea’s most extraordinary environments.

 

Together, we bring balance. Tito leads with experience and instinct. I bring operational structure, planning, and the drive to build something sustainable and meaningful. What unites us is a shared ambition and an unwavering standard. We don’t aim to be the biggest. We aim to be the best.

 

The Red Sea is at the heart of Shark Academy. Its clarity, biodiversity, dramatic reefs, and historic wrecks are unlike anywhere else in the world. Bringing divers from across the globe to experience this environment, responsibly and respectfully, is deeply important to us.
