Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Requirements: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or the official Shark Academy booking channel. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

2. Refund Eligibility

Shark Academy operates a limited refund policy.
   •    A refund of up to 30% applies only when:
   •    The cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the service start date, and
   •    The booking is for courses booked in advance or dives that do not require boat booking.
   •    All other services are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
   •    Liveaboards
   •    Boat-based dive trips
   •    Day boats and catamarans

3. Rebooking Policy
   •    Rebooking requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the scheduled service start date.
   •    Rebooking remains subject to availability, may incur an administrative fee, must be used within a defined validity period, and is not guaranteed for same-day or last-minute changes.
   •    Rebooking applies to liveaboards and boat-based dive trips, including day boats and catamarans.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

No refunds apply under any circumstances for:
   •    No-shows
   •    Late arrivals
   •    Early departures
   •    Missed dives, courses, or activities due to personal, medical, or travel-related issues

5. Discretionary Service Credits
   •    Shark Academy may issue service credits at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.
   •    Any credits issued are:
   •    Non-transferable
   •    Time-limited
   •    Subject to availability and operational constraints

Service credits do not constitute refunds and hold no cash value.
 

6. Acceptance of Refund Policy

By completing a booking through the Shark Academy website or official booking channels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy. Service-specific policies take precedence where explicitly stated.
